Freight rates continued to stay at the nearly same level as same shipping company has booked has booked a vessel for the same route scheduled for the same destination at USD 16 per ton for a laycan for October 7th 2008 to October 16th 2008.

Meanwhile in the Brazil China route shipping company TMT voyage chartered a vessel to ship 160,000 tonnes of iron ore from Itaguai for transport to Beilun at USD 44.80 per tonne for a laycan scheduled for October 1st 2008 to October 10th 2008.
